Welcome to Living Word Family Church

At Living Word Family Church, we base our teaching upon God’s revealed Word, the Bible, and are committed to serve Him in the name of Jesus Christ. It is our desire that people come to place their trust in Christ, and continually grow in their relationship with Him.

We provide regular teaching and preaching from the Bible, meaningful times of worship, and opportunities for fellowship, prayer, outreach and numerous other ministries for people of all ages. Our extensive Children’s Ministry serves all those nursery age through high school. If you're seeking a church home, we gladly welcome you to all that Living Word Family Church has to offer.

  • childrenFrom the very beginning, we have seen the vital importance of ministering to the entire family, not just the adults. Because of this, we put a high priority on Children’s Ministry. Every area of our children’s department is designed to teach and train. We supply quality equipment and Bible-based curriculum for all age groups and are continually encouraging our teachers and helpers to recognize that in ministering to the children we are ministering to the entire family. A staff of capable volunteers are recruited from our congregation to teach and train these young ones.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come; Let Earth receive her king; Let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing!

I’m writing this column two days before Thanksgiving, but by the time you read it, Christmas music will be playing in every store and on many radio stations either non-stop or very regularly. There is a lot of Christmas music that I am ambivalent about, to put it kindly. It seems like every singer and his or her brother or sister has put out the oblig-atory Christmas album and forgive me if I seem jaded when I say it sounds like an easy cash-grab. And just how many versions of “Up on the Housetop,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” do we need?
